What the Road Department Does

• Maintains county-owned roads, shoulders, and rights-of-way
• Grades unpaved roads and manages drainage systems
• Responds to washouts, downed trees, and storm damage on county roads

State highways (US 19, US 90, I-10) are maintained by FDOT, and roads inside Monticello city limits by the City of Monticello.
