How the County Budget Works

The County Manager prepares the annual budget in coordination with the Clerk of Court & Comptroller and presents it to the Board of County Commissioners. The Board adopts the budget each September after public workshops and two public hearings. The county’s fiscal year runs October 1 through September 30.
