JEFFERSON COUNTY CODE ENFORCEMENT

While compliance with state and county regulations is the ultimate goal of the Jefferson County Code Enforcement Officer, the Jefferson County Building Official, the Jefferson County Planning Official, and their respective staff all unresolved issues and possible fines for non-compliance shall be determined by the Special Magistrate.


Code Enforcement in Jefferson County is a complaint-driven service. This means a citizen must file a complaint with the Code Enforcement Office before any action will be taken. Anonymous complaints will not be accepted. 

 A complaint form may be submitted in three ways:
  1. 1. In person delivery at the Code Enforcement Department Office, 
  2. 2. By mail through the U.S.Postal Service,
  3. 3. Via email sent to: rslack@jeffersoncountyfl.gov.
